Radioactivity analytics is one of the main profiles of Isotoptech Zrt., resulting primarily from decade-long partnership with Paks Nuclear Power Plant and the Hungarian National Radioactive Waste Repository. We have infrastructural capability for and experience in the measurement of a wide range of sample types and analytes, both with non-destructive and destructive methods.
These include, but not limited to:
- primordial (40K, 238U chain, 232Th chain) and artificial (137Cs, 90Sr, 241Am) isotopes in environmental samples: soil, water, sediment, plants, animals, etc.
- non-destructive (gamma-emitters) and destructive (14C, 36Cl, 90Sr, 99Tc, 108mAg, 129I, transuranic isotopes) assay of exempt level and L/ILW waste packages
- Tap water characterization: tritium, gross-alpha/gross-beta, 222Rn/226Ra
